In the interest of staying in touch with our awesome F.I.T.ness community, I thought what better vehicle than a monthly newsletter to share mutual interests and helpful tips.
Here I hope you'll find a little inspiration, a lot of encouragement, and the motivation to share some resources of your own that you'd like to see included in future newsletters. As always, I welcome your feedback and input.

💦💦💦STAY HYDRATED!💦💦💦
Drink plenty of water throughout the day and night.
We need at least 64 ounces of water per day. Water can also help curb those nighttime snack urges when we feel hungry or bored. Try a glass of water before reaching for the chips. Your tummy may be telling your brain you are hungry when you are actually just thirsty. Rest assured that during every Zoom online exercise class, I'll remind you to stay hydrated.

Here's a helpful article from the Mayo Clinic about HIIT, which is the format I use in every Zoom exercise class.
"High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is not just for the young and healthy. Researchers have found that HIIT can improve health and fitness for just about everyone and has even bigger benefits for older adults."

It’s important to exhale with your exertions from each exercise repetition.
While breathing through our online group training classes is important, breathing in life is even more so.
Take time for you to stop and smell the roses.

On your desktop, go to the "ONLINE TRAINING" tab, and click on "F.I.T. VIDEO LIBRARY". On your mobile device, it's under the "TRAINING" tab. You'll be asked to log into your account if you haven't done so already. Each video is dated so you'll know exactly which workout you're taking.
Now you never have to miss a class!

F.I.T. EQUIPMENT SPOTLIGHT
Resistance bands are awesome for building strength and improving mobility. I incorporate them frequently in my 60-minute group workouts. I've included these on my website's recommended equipment list. You can find them online here.
